Mother’s Day at Hunington Library

The Food was INCREDIBLE!  The gardens weren’t bad to shoot either.

This gourmet basket had all the goods!

It served 4 people.  There was only 3 of us and we took home a half filled basket.  We didn’t even get to the whole chicken!

The Whole Roasted Mediterranean Chicken

Keep in mind this is Al Fresco, all foods were intended to be served cold.

Sopressata and Cheeses (Gruyere & Mimolette)

In the basket, they provide you with a cutting board, cheese slicer, and one heavy duty knife that we used for everything from slicing sopressata to our tenderloin.

Pate de Foie de Poulet (w/carmelized onions) & Marinated Olives

Beef Tenderloin

Takes a little getting used to eating the tenderloin cold, but it was so tender and tasty, that I got over it quick!

La Marca-Probably one of my favorite proseccos I have ever quaffed

And the rest included fruit & berry salad, tea cured salmon, tomato salad, assorted crackers, French baguette, spiced nuts,  almond cookies, chocolate truffles, and sparkling water.  And, you can also keep the gadgets!  All this with a harpist and flutist playing in the  corner.  Absolutely lovely!
