The most popular event in Belmont Shore is the Stroll & Savor, the first one of the series. It’s a “taste of Belmont Shore” with over 35 restaurants offering the best of their menus. Enjoy an evening strolling Second Street, savoring cuisines from around the globe, and listening to talented local musicians.
Performing Wednesday May 18 is Gregg Young & the 2nd Street Band & Thursday, May 19 is Band of Others (Boo). Both bands are local residents & Belmont Shore Business Association members.
Buy your tickets after May 6th at Olives Gourmet, La Strada, We Olive, Mail Boxes etc. & Sweet Jill’s. Tickets also sold in front of CHASE BANK night of event.
I have been to this event once last year. It’s a great atmosphere at Belmont Shore. If you’re a foodie, then you’ll love all the great ethnic restaurants that provide delicious samples from their menu. There is such a variety of food among these restuarants. You can fill your belly with sushi, greek food, buffalo wings, fried rice, pizza, french flavors, and more! I even exchanged tickets for dog treats at the pet store for my dogs.
You’ll walk up and down the street with crowds of friendly people, half of them with their dogs. Very dog friendly part of Long Beach.
If it’s not raining Michael and I are taking my parents to this event as part of the celebratory evening for their anniversary (one day before their actual anniversary on the 19th, they will spend that one alone 😉 )
