Spent Mother’s Day at the Huntington Library & Botanical Gardens.
This year, we did the tea room celebration. The teas we chose were Pomegranate Green Tea and Strawberry & Kiwi Black Tea
Delicious apricot and raisin scones were served with fresh made jams…
Then there’s the buffet of tea sandwiches!!
The creations consisted of Salmon, Albacore Tuna, Carrot & Ginger, Cucumber & Mint, and Chicken on Tarragon.
There were little toppings such as caviar and hummus to add more flavor 🙂 The caviar on the smoked salmon added the perfect saltiness.
Then there were desserts, which by this time, I had gorged myself with tea sandwiches on top of making my insides float with several cups of tea. However, I dabbled in some sugary delights…
