A-Frame Restaurant

I’ve already written about this gem in Culver City. Now I’m returning to introduce my parents to this restaurant. Some items will be new to me, as their menu is always changing.

I started with my organic Samuel Smith Apple Cider. Damn refreshing.

There were a few favorites I was hoping to catch on the menu again like oxtail. Sadly, this became a tease as I saw it on the menu, but in a section labeled for the weekend only menu…booooo. If it wasn’t implied, we went during the week.

There were other familiar dishes that we ordered such as the kettle corn…

This was new to me at this establishment. I am open to having both cooked and raw with seafood and meat. This meat had such a delicate feel to the tongue. The oils added just the right amount of flavor without overpowering the natural flavor of the meat. Very light and refreshing, perfect for a hot day.

The swordfish tacos were the best this time. A tangy sauce made this pair of tacos juicy đŸ™‚

Of course this was one dessert that has stayed on the menu and that we had to get again…
