Trying to broil some whole trout wrapped in bacon!
Got my broiler heating up and I’m off to rinse the trout!
I rubbed minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red crushed pepper flakes in the cavity and in both sides. I also place some rosemary and garlic clove halves in the cavity…
Then comes more good stuff! I bought this jalapeño bacon and wrapped it around the fish tightly. Sprinkled more pepper and into broiling for five minutes each side.
I forked a little on the end to make sure it was starting to flake and that the bacon was getting crispy. Served with some salad topped with a vinaigrette and goat cheese!
